I love hydrangeas. They always reminded me of my mother, because she wished so much that they would grow in Florida the way they did in Charleston, but would never stay alive in Florida’s brutal summers. In Atlanta, they grow very well. Now, they mostly remind me of weddings as they’re a particularly ubiquitous bouquet flower.

Do you even go to a real school? from Chelsea Corarito on Vimeo. I have some mixed feelings about the school I went to. I don’t think I had a typical experience as compared to most other Novo Collegians, but I still appreciated the culture there, even if I wasn’t often a part of it. This neat video even makes me a little nostalgic, which I never really thought I’d say.

Things are a little weird between the cat and I right now. I’m tired of the incessant meowing and early morning wake-ups with biting and clawing. She might be feeling a little attention-deprived. It’s sort of a standoff, but things aren’t entirely unpleasant between us.

Okay, so this might bring out the haters, but I kinda love this song. Whatever. The best part? At the very end Ke$ha says, “I like your beard,” and she sounds genuine and not auto-tuned and like she’s really saying something to a real boy about something she really feels. And I think that’s nice. Especially when you have a crush of your own on a sometimes-bearded boy.

Mmm.. Threw together this easy-peasy tofu dish for dinner. Basically, I sauteed some tofu in a hot pan with a bit of olive oil and once it was cooked the way I like it, threw in a bit of peanut butter and some tamari, and stirred it around until they all combined. Served over rice with a generous dollop of sriracha. Ohh yeah.
