About

I just finished Valley of the Dolls and it was so bad, and so good. I had this whole plan worked out that this fall I would read something literary, and then something shitty. So I first read Zora Neale Hurston’s Their Eyes Were Watching God (amazing, of course), and then I devoured Valley of the Dolls in, like, three days, and now I thumb through the opening pages of Hemingway and Gordimer and Bellow all disinterested and bored. Oh my god.
So…. book recommendations? (Maybe something good, but not too.)
