About

Murakami is the favorite to win the Nobel Prize for Literature, and I’m really excited about it. I haven’t got a horse in any other races right now, so it feels especially good to be pulling for my favorite writer. I know maybe everyone thinks this, and of course a writer’s goal is to make people think “me too,” but I really get the sense that if Murakami and I sat down to talk we would have a whole lot to say and maybe we would both feel a sense of camaraderie. photo via exorcising ghosts
