

Hmmmm, it’s barely ten a.m. here on the west coast, but I’ve got to tell you about the most amazing drink I had at a cute little restaurant last night. It was a play on my absolute favorite cocktail, the Greyhound. My pretty St. Citrine was made with grapefruit infused vodka (made in house!), elderberry liquer, grapefruit juice, and a little soda water. It was served in a pretty fluted glass and it was amazing. The elderberry has a super subtle floral flavor and the grapefruit-infused vodka made the drink even more tart and complex than it usually is. Oh, I adored it, and it was half-off for a Tuesday special. And look how swank and pretty the bar area is!
