Happy Valentine’s Day, sweethearts. Hope you have fun cuddling up with a cutie or a pup or a good book. My ATL trip was extended, so I’m planning on going out for doughnuts and playing trivia with my pals. (I also may try to track down President Obama in Decatur! Maybe he’ll be my Valentine.)

I don’t know why life can’t just be puppies in teacups 24/7. I’ve been trying this sort of hokey technique of taking mental vacations when I get stressed out—staring out a window or at a pretty picture and taking my mind off of what’s bothering me. I think the place I need to always go when I’m bummed or stressed is puppies in teacups.

A few weeks ago, we came back from a bar and I seriously almost bought a pet pig on the internet. Turns out they cost at least a grand and my lease doesn’t allow for pets. One day.
